Power U 46: Clarity of Purpose

Talking about the first lesson from our Power Game session: clarity of purpose. There's a whole whack of reasons for this but the most basic of them is that if you aren’t clear about what it is, nobody will be and that means the power you are marshalling is not being used nearly as effectively as it could be.

Purpose is so fundamental to the effective and literate use of power that this is not the first time I'm talking about it. Check out PowerU 8 for a deeper dive.

I love Stacey Abram's TED Talk on this topic. Check it out on the TED site under the title "3 questions to ask yourself about everything you do".
