Power U 11: Positional Power
A primer on the types of power, plus the first of the formal powers
We've talked about context, we've talked about purpose, we've talked about definitions...it's time to talk about different types of power! So excited to get to this point. Having language for the types of power is really the gateway to being able to build power literacy.
For reference, there are a LOT of different types of power talked about in academic literature. I like to keep it as simple as possible...kind of like the primary colours of power from which you build more complex and nuanced discussions about power.
