PowerU 65 - The Field of Play

Most people working on housing or climate can tell you exactly who their opponents are.
What's harder to see, and what actually stymies progress far more often, is the competition: the other people and organizations who agree there's a problem but are pushing different solutions. And the decision maker who finds it easier to do nothing than to choose between them.
I saw this over and over again, first as an organizer and then as an elected official. Before I got elected I could see my opponents clearly. What I couldn't see as well was my own responsibility in pulling people together behind a unified direction.
That's what the Field of Play is built for and much gratitude to Leading Change Network, Marshall Ganz, New Organizing Institute, Peter Gibbs and Shea Sinnott for making this tool available. You can find it at their website: https://commonslibrary.org/organizing-people-power-change/
